God Takes Care of His Own

It can be really uncanny when things happen in such a smiliar pattern (my friend's dad passed away today). I guess the fore-warning came about two weeks ago when God prompted me to talk to her. It's never easy to bring up the topic of death and dying, but it's a certainty we all have to face one day. The good news is..we can full have assurance of our salvation and resurrection in Christ Jesus, as 1 Corinthians 15: 42-58 accurately sums it up with:

Where, O death, is your victory?

Where, O death, is your sting?

Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labour in the Lord is not in vain.

The conclusion of the matter is this..God will never forsake His servants and those who sincerely call upon His Name. He takes care of His own people..and is, indeed, the Big Boss of all big bosses! Give thanks in all circumstances and rejoice in God's goodness!
