Flash Flood @ Orchard!!!

The advantage of being on the 10th floor at Forum is that we had a bird's eye view of flooding without getting wet! We saw the rushing water swirling around the 2 stalled buses, a black Mercedes drifting slowly down the road and people stranded with umbrellas along the side walk. We were informed by some clients that the basement shops near Wheel Lock Place were submerged in about 6 feet of water.. decorated with bobbing tables and chairs belonging to Star Bucks and the newly renovated, but not opened Wendy's. Needless to say, there were massive jams in and around the area.. and major clean-ups the next muddy morning..
