Bits 'n' Pieces...

So us ladies (Audrey, Bee Chan, Christine, Ee Meng, Jaclyn, Jana, Lay Choo and Mei Yi) had another one of our annual pow-wow affair and this time it was at Marche's.. which is great for the undecided mind when it comes to the all important question of 'what to eat ah?' The table was soon laden with soup.. bread.. chicken and mushroom wraps.. fried calamari.. and all sorts of decadent desserts.. ala creme crepes with strawberries and bananas (at least we had some fruit and fibre.. ha ha!).. cheese cakes.. and topped off with coffee.. thus satisfying the hedonist in us!

Here are some eventful snippets:

• brand new Love Pink & leopard 'preens' handbags vs Audrey's 10 year old Snoopy bag (not to mention the good ole faithful cotton handkerchief inside)
• tight-fitting clothes worn by the ladies working at Shenton Way.. how do they even breathe? will the buttons pop?
• the guy that thought 2-3 times a day was NORMAL?!!
• pills & wills
• the pressures faced by kids these days.. gangs at Downtown East
• K-drama updates (Sungkyungkwan Scandal is a must watch!)
• unfastening a safety-pin near the zip of your jeans is best NOT done in public
