Good Is The Enemy Of Great...

I'm totally inspired by the speakers at The Global Leadership Summit.. who made me reflect on my own life goals and leadership style. The few things I learned in summary:

• Cast the vision: What is 'There'? Why can't we stay 'Here'? How do we get from 'Here' to 'There'?
• Have fantastic people on our team (the 4 Cs - character, competency, chemistry, culture)
• Hear God's whisper (John 10:27 'My sheep hear my voice, I know them and they follow me')
• Count your blessings
• Preserve the core and stimulate progress
  
• Self-diagnose - are we a team on the way up or down? (http://www.jimcollins.com/)
• Leverage on 'TENSION' instead of trying to solve the 'problem' away
• Be a mentor leader - coaching and not scolding

**Stubbornness is a virtue IF you are right!**
